Happy #3 Wes!

Today we're celebrating 3 years with Wes.  Time really does go by fast.  Things are always more fun with Wes around so today we've planned a fun day just for him!

Special Visitors in Birmingham

Matt and Jennifer were in Birmingham for their first time as a family of six so we headed down to visit them.  We had a fun a weekend and I loved getting to hug and kiss on the twins. James is like a little baby model and just sits and poses and smiles.  So there's tons more pictures of him then anyone else!  Catherine made me work for her smiles and I never got one on camera but finally got one in person by the end of the weekend.

The Boys all went to the Barber Speedway Race.  They were excited!

Sunday we did something different and all went to the park for a picnic and to play some baseball.  The crowd was too big for a restaurant and it worked out great because the kids could all run around.  I sat on a blanket taking pictures and eating, which is what I do best these days.

 We had about one minute to take a picture before we had to leave for church.  Wes was extra wiggly and then he just bursts out,  "I have to go teeeeeteeeeee!"  So needless to say I didn't get many good ones!

We hunted a few chocolate eggs in the house that morning before heading out the door for church.  Then after church we went to some friends house for lunch and a big easter egg hunt.  Wes had a blast and left tired, sweaty,  dirty and with a basket full of eggs.

Cute Prayers

Wes has started saying the cutest prayers lately, you just never know what he's going to say.  Here was tonights:

"Dear God,
Thank you for will and andrew while on they're trip home.  They live far far away.
Thank you for my room, and my bathroom and my Trains.
Thank you for all my woodys and buzzes.
Thank you for my spaghetti and ALL my meatballs.
Thank you for all my pajamas.
And for no tornados.
Amen."

Spring

Spring arrived early and we've been enjoying it!

Wes loves to play superman with "super dog".  Travis on the other hand usually looks pretty annoyed.

 We tried a new Burger restaurant and Wes loved it.  Why would he not when he got to finish off Jon's chocolate milkshake, my root beer float and Jon's coke!

 We've enjoyed many picnics, played baseball in the yard and spent many mornings at the parks.  This boy loves to play outside and starts asking to go out just shortly after waking up!  One afternoon after he got home from school we played outside until Jon got home.  Literally we played everything possible:  baseball, football, soccer, tennis, golf, rode his scooter and bike, and walked to the park.  And I don't know why I'm so tired at night...

We made a trip to birmingham where it was nice to see family and play/visit with some old friends.  And to finally get our Bum of a renter out of the townhouse which was the stressful and real reason for our visit.  Now lets all just pray that we can finally sell it in the months to come!
